We grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah on five small vineyard sites in the Oak Knoll, Yountville, Rutherford and St Helena appellations of Napa Valley.
In order to produce quality grapes that yield wines consistent with our style great care is taken in selecting the varieties, the clone, the vineyard spacing and the trellis system to match the soil and microclimate of our vineyards and in managing our vineyards for low yields.
Our family is dedicated to our father's 'sunshine to wine' vision whereby we direct all aspects of producing the wines from the selection of the vineyard sites to hand-harvesting the grapes and hand-crafting the wines and ultimately entertaining and educating guests at the winery. Our philosophy is that this is best done with a passionate attention to detail and by growing and producing wine in limited quantities. Hand crafting the wines gives the family the opportunity to be extremely selective and highly innovative. The results are threefold.
