Wine Futures (also known as "En Primeur") refers to buying wine after it is made, but before it is bottled or released. Barrel samples of the wine are made available for tasting in the year prior to bottling and the wine is purchased at that time but delivered 6-18 months later at release.
Wine futures offer the collector /conessouir the best price that the wine will be sold for, in our case a 30% savings to release price.
