1970 MONTICELLO VINEYARDS founded with purchase of 80 acres of land to plant to grapes
1971 Main Estate first planted to chardonnay and pinot noir
1970's Professional farmers selling to the likes of Bouchaine, Christian Brothers, Far Niente, Grgich Hills, Lewis, Mumm, Schramsberg, Swanson, Sequoia Grove, Twomey, Vichon
1980 Our first crush - MONTICELLO VINEYARDS chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon
1982 Completion of winery building
1982 Established ELHERS LANE/MANKER/YEWELL vineyard in St Helena
1982 1st vintages for CORLEY RESERVE designated wines and CHATEAU M
1983 1st vintage MONTREAUX Brut sparkling wine
1984 Completion of Jefferson House
1984 Established KNOLLWOOD VINEYARD in Oak Knoll District
1987 Established TIETJEN VINEYARD in Rutherford
1987 Kevin Corley joins management team full time
1989 Established STATE LANE VINEYARD in Yountville
1989 Chris Corley joins winemaking team full time
1990's Replanting of all vineyards begin due to phyloxerra
1991 Kevin Corley appointed Winegrower
1996 Jay Corley retires
1997 Stephen Corley joins management team full time as Director of Wine Sales
