15 Year Anniversary Wine - Still Rich, Ripe and a bit Rambunctious!
Our 2003 CORLEY Proprietary Red Wine is another great representative of the vintage, in which
these ‘Bordeaux’ varietals are showing an amazing depth of quality in aromatics, flavors and
texture. The Vintage, in general – and certainly this wine, is once again tending toward early
enjoyment and graceful aging!
The aromas are deep and dark, conjuring up plums, dark berry jams, cedar and pencil lead.
The texture of the wine is full and rich, yet is framed with firm and straightforward tannin. The
finish is lingering and the tannins fall off the back of the tongue to reveal a nice fatness of
fruit. Our Vintage 2003 has intertwined characteristics of the previous three vintages. As is
often the case, Cabernet Franc is the predominant varietal (55%), followed by Merlot (25%) and
a good dose of Cabernet Sauvignon makes up the balance (20%).
