The Corley family owns and manages some of the finest vineyard properties in the world and from them we produce wines of singular quality and distinction. Our 80 acre Monticello Vineyards estate in the Napa Valley with vineyards and winery, tasting room, as well as culinary and hospitality facilities has been a destination for fine wine lovers and visitors from around the world since the 1980’s.
Now in our third generation, the family and our team members, some of whom have been with us for more than 30 years, welcomes you to our sustainably-farmed and solar-powered wine estate.
When our father Jay Corley began searching for the sites he wanted to grow wine, he recognized that the best wines in the country were grown in Napa Valley. His personal passion for Burgundian-style wines led him to plant Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in what is now known as the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley in 1970.
We believe that great wine begins in the vineyard. At the hands of our winemaker Chris Corley, we are dedicated to ownership of the most desirable land for our grapes. Among the best wineries in Napa sits our Estate vineyards in Oak Knoll, with premium Cabernet Sauvignon grapes sourced from warmer regions across Napa Valley.
Kevin Corley presides as both President of the company, as well as our dedicated winegrower. We have grown from humble beginnings to now farming five vineyards in the Napa Valley. Our Estate and Knollwood Vineyard in the Oak Knoll District is planted to Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah varietals. Our State Lane Vineyard in Yountville, Tietjen Vineyard on Niebaum Lane in Rutherford and Yewell Vineyard on Ehlers Lane in St. Helena are each planted to premium Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
We value authentic and reliable relationships within our family, with our customers, and as dedicated members of our community. Stephen Corley is our Director of Wine Sales, and responsible for getting the best of our wines into the hands of our customers from our tasting room to across the country.
